The Hidden Gem Homestead embraces everyday medicinal herbs and weeds—yes, even weeds. Flowers, trees, and even plants some might overlook have powerful properties for medicine, daily health, and even food. We grow as many ingredients as possible in our home garden, with some, like plantain, volunteering wherever they feel needed. On our 38-acre homestead, we craft butters, salves, lip balms, and lotions, all made with care and a deep connection to nature.
